The Mehalev Program- From Welfare to Work- is a governmental program intended to assist people receiving a minimal income pension from the National Insurance Institute to return to the work force and to assist those receiving income completion to expand the extent of their work

You are in good hands! The Mehalev program in Hadera is run by Agens Israel, the Israeli branch of the Dutch company Agens International, the largest European company specializing in returning the unemployed into the work force. Agens Israel, specializing in creative, worthwhile, varied employment solutions, is active in Israel in cooperation with the Yeud Company from the Adam Group, leading the employment and assignation field in Israel.

In the framework of the Mehalev program you will undergo a guidance and assignation process with a personal case manager. The process takes into account your abilities, needs and family status. Together we will form a personalized employment program, including active job searching, acquiring work habits, training and/or guidance as necessary.
The bottom line is that we will help you find a safe and stable job, where you will be employed long term and will provide you with financial and personal security.

The personal plan contains different activities in an effort to integrate you in the work market.
The personal plan will be approximately 30 hours weekly and no more then 40 weekly hours. (If you are already working, the extent of hours of the plan will include your working hours).
The responsibility to follow the plan and attend the activities planned for you is your own.
Failure to keep to the personal paln may cause you to lose your entitlement to minimal income pension.

The professional staff of Agens Israel is at you service on any matter:
• In the framework of the initial absorption at the employment center, you will meet your case manager, who will accompany you throughout the whole process.
• If necessary, an occupational doctor will examine your health condition, in order to match the job offered to you with your physical abilities.
• If necessary, an occupational psychologist will be at your service in order to match the job offered to you with your mental abilities.
• A representative of the National Insurance Institute positioned at the center, will receive your request for National Insurance Institute payments in the framework of the program

• When you are employed, you are to report this immediately to your case manager, including reporting the employee’s details.
• If your income justifies further support from the National Insurance Institute, you will be required to continue to cooperate with your case manager.
• In any case your case manager will continue to accompany you for several months and help you to keep your job
